Nurse Unit Manager

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Unit Manager for our Specialist Dementia Care Program (SDCP) in The Basin, Melbourne. This full-time, onsite role offers an attractive salary (Grade 4) and an opportunity to lead a team dedicated to providing high-quality, person-centered dementia care in a non-clinical, supportive environment. You will be responsible for clinical leadership, operational management, and overseeing the care of older people with severe dementia.

Key responsibilities include managing the SDCP unit, mentoring staff, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards, and collaborating with healthcare teams and families. The ideal candidate will be a Registered Nurse (AHPRA) with experience in aged care and dementia care, strong leadership skills, and a passion for improving the lives of older people. Postgraduate qualifications in Dementia or Gerontology are desirable.
