Visit a Client (Transition Care Program)

Visits should ideally be booked in advance. Regulations have been put in place to keep our residents and clients as safe as possible. Please read the instructions below before visiting as regulations can change frequently due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.

The following regulations apply for visiting clients from the Transition Care Program (TCP).

Visiting Hours

Monday – Sunday: 8am to 8pm (last entry)

If you want to visit outside of these hours, please get in contact with us at (03) 9760 2100.

Before visiting…

If you need any assistance, you can call booking staff at (03) 9760 2100.

(If you’re planning to bring your pet on-site, please contact us at (03) 9760 2100 BEFORE making your booking.)

Preferably be fully vaccinated.

Get tested. Visitor can do their Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) at home, take a picture with date and time stamp and present to staff on-site. If you do not have mobile phone/camera, you can do the RAT on-site. You can also bring in the RAT that they have done at home. If you do this, you need to write your name, date & time ON the RAT cassette with a permanent marker. If you have a negative PCR test result within 24 hours prior to visiting, this will be a substitute for the need for a RAT.

When visiting…

– Please come on time. You do not need to come early.

Have proof of negative Covid19 test (as described above) or alternatively do a RAT on-site.

Follow infection control measures. Wear a clinical face mask at all times, keep social distance, observe strict hand hygiene. Follow infection control instructions by staff.

Stay in client’s room or outdoor areas (e.g. garden). No visits in indoor common areas are allowed at this stage.

Entrances: During the week (Monday to Friday), you can use the Café Jensen entrance. On weekends and public holidays, please use the Arcadia entrance.

Please also note that for visits after 5pm, you will need to use the call bell or call a number provided at the door. There might be a short waiting time before staff can let you in.

Visit virtually

You can also ‘visit’ TCP clients virtually via video (group) calls as well via phone calls. If you are interested, please contact our Activities Team at (03) 9760 2490 or at activities@martinlutherhomes.com.au.
