Henny Penny Hatching

Due to the popularity in the last years, we took part in the Henny Penny Hatching program once again. Everyone was very excited to have our very own little chicks at Martin Luther Homes for two weeks.

Our aged care residents, staff and visitors were able to watch eggs hatching in a specially designed incubator. The hatched chicks were then placed in a large, clear-sided brooding pen. Everyone loved seeing the little creatures hatch, take their first steps and play.
