Activities in our village
Our residents from the retirement village are proud of their many activities and social outings and everyone is encouraged to take part to whatever degree they prefer! We also have a committee that meet once a month to discuss the activities calendar and other items. Everyone is invited to join in.
A designated Coordinator
We have Retirement Village Coordinator who is there for our residents organising trips, activities and special events that are tailored to the needs and interests of our residents.
Education & Interaction
Our village is host to many engaging events that offer education and information on a broad variety of topics. There are info sessions with experts, technology and language lessons, and we are also hosting occasional forums where we exchange views and experiences.
A social hub
At the heart of our village is the Community Hall where our residents regularly gather to celebrate special events and where plenty of good food and drinks are enjoyed together.
Outings & Excursions
We love the outdoors and there are plenty of ways to explore and enjoy landmarks and beautiful sights that are only a short trip away from us. Whether we are hiking in the Dandenongs or shopping in the Melbourne CBD, if you are interested in being social and getting out of the house, the village at Martin Luther Homes is your place.
In addition, we offer language-based activities for our German-speaking residents and we organise many interactive events around the major holidays. We frequently update our Activities Calendar and encourage our residents to come forward with their own ideas.
