Just in the nick of time...
...for the November edition of the Martin Luther Homes newsletter.

There was so much going on in recent months. Our Activities Team hosted a Pirate Party, an Oktoberfest, and our staff were quite scary looking for Halloween. Simultaneously, we are already in the midst of our Christmas preparations and this year, we will make St Nicholas a very special day. On Friday December 6, we are celebrating St Nicholas Day with our residents by enjoying some live entertainment, traditional songs and poems, as well as a free barbecue on the day.
Whether it is arts & crafts, Oktoberfest, or a Pirate Party, there is never a dull day at Martin Luther Homes. Our Activities Team members come up with some very entertaining ideas for our daily program and we also encourage our residents to put their ideas forward. 
We were at Maroondah Festival
Our stall attracted quite a few visitors who had valuable questions in regard to retirement living and aged care. And our wonderful volunteers Monika and Julie had all the answers. Next year on February 29, we will also be at the Knox Festival - so make sure to visit us then!

What to do with your old tech devices?
Our residents really have enjoyed our new Tech Lessons and learning about new technology. IF YOU HAVE A SPARE LAPTOP OR TABLET COMPUTER, and you want to put it to a good use, please contact our Activities Team on Tel 9760 2490 or via Email. We can reset the device to factory settings for you and ensure that all personal data has been deleted before we use them in class. Our residents would really appreciate the kind donation.
